Job Title: Offshore Accountant – Real Property Business

Location: Remote / Work from Home

Employment Type: Full-Time

About the role:

This fully remote role is ideal for experienced accountants with Australian accounting knowledge, particularly in the real property sector.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage accounts receivable and accounts payable accurately and on time.
  • Maintain day-to-day bookkeeping and ensure financial records are up-to-date.
  • Perform regular bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies.
  • Assist with month-end and year-end financial reporting.
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
  • Ensure compliance with Australian accounting standards and GST requirements.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in bookkeeping, accounts receivable, and accounts payable.
  • Solid understanding of Australian accounting principles and GST rules.
  • Experience with bank reconciliations and financial reporting.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., MRI, Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
  • Prior experience supporting Australian businesses in the real property sector is highly desirable.
