JOB DESCRIPTION

1. Audits processes based on set standards in order to identify root causes of non

conformances

2. Checks the production reports; batch coding and identification of finished products.

3. Samples in-process materials and finished products for analytical and

microbiological tests.

4. Maintains batch records and reference samples.

5. Conducts physical and chemical tests.

6. Informs QA Officers on the non conformance in physico chemical tests for proper

disposition of in-process materials and finished products.

7. Rejects raw materials and finished products that are not within the set standards,

parameters and brand specifications

8. Prepares Certificate of Analysis of finished products with the approval of QA Officers

9. Evaluates retention samples in terms of physical and chemical characteristics based

on the brand specifications.

10. Assists in the investigation of consumer complaints and problems of returned and

damaged goods related to quality and food safety

11. Perform tasks that may be assigned by Superior

Job Requirements

1. HACCP or at least ServSafe Certified

2. Graduate of an HRIM, Food Tech, Nutrition or Microbiology course

3. Knowledge in Philippine Food Laws (FDA act of 2013 and Code on Sanitation of the Philippines), GMP would also be good.
