What you'll be doing

  • Develop and maintain production plans to meet customer demand and internal targets
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to align production schedules with material availability, equipment capacity and workforce
  • Monitor production progress and make adjustments to plans as needed to address any disruptions or variances
  • Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements and cost optimisation
  • Collaborate with the logistics team to ensure seamless coordination of inbound and outbound shipments
  • Support the implementation of new systems and tools to enhance planning and scheduling capabilities

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Management or a related field
  • 3 years of experience in production planning and scheduling, ideally within the manufacturing or logistics industry
  • Proficient in using planning and scheduling software, such as ERP systems, MRP tools and supply chain optimisation platforms
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and address production bottlenecks
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work effectively with cross-functional teams
  • Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
