Job Summary:

We are looking for an experienced and detail-driven Project Planner/Scheduler to support our interior fit-out construction projects. The ideal candidate will develop and manage detailed project schedules, monitor progress, coordinate with stakeholders, and ensure timely delivery of all project phases. This role is critical to the successful execution of high-quality interior environments within the commercial, retail, residential, or hospitality sectors.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, maintain, and update project schedules using tools like MS Project, Primavera P6, or similar
  • Break down the scope of work into manageable tasks, timelines, and deliverables
  • Collaborate with project managers, site engineers, subcontractors, and procurement teams to ensure accurate sequencing
  • Monitor project progress, identify potential delays, and recommend corrective actions
  • Prepare and present look-ahead schedules, resource plans, and progress reports
  • Evaluate and integrate subcontractors' programs into the master schedule
  • Track variations and updates to project timelines, and assess impacts on deliverables
  • Support project planning during pre-construction, execution, and handover phases
  • Ensure schedule adherence in line with project milestones and contract requirements
  • Contribute to risk assessments and mitigation strategies

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or architecture
  • Proven experience (3+ years) in project scheduling within the interior fit-out or construction industry is a plus
  • Proficiency in scheduling software (Primavera P6, MS Project, or similar)
  • Strong understanding of construction sequences, methods, and site coordination
  • Familiarity with fit-out project components (e.g., MEP works, joinery, finishes, furniture installation)
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and work under tight deadlines
  • Knowledge of local building codes, safety regulations, and contract structures

Preferred Skills:

  • PMP or PMI-SP certification is an advantage
  • Experience in fast-track projects or high-end interior fit outs
  • Working knowledge of AutoCAD, Revit, or BIM tools for integration with project timelines
  • Strong stakeholder coordination and report-writing abilities
