Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or any related field.
  • At least 6 months to 1 year of experience as a Manual Tester or in a similar QA role.
  • Solid understanding of software testing methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Hands-on experience with API testing and data migration testing/validation.
  • Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and the ability to work independently.
  • Good communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
  • Experience in the insurance industry is an advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts.
  • Perform manual testing of applications to ensure product quality.
  • Identify, log, and track software defects and inconsistencies.
  • Work closely with developers to resolve issues and ensure software stability.
  • Conduct regression testing to verify that new features do not affect existing functionalities.
  • Participate in requirement and design reviews to provide feedback on testability.
  • Maintain and update testing documentation, reports, and records.
  • Keep up with industry best practices and emerging trends in software testing.
