Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Java Developer with at least 7 years of hands-on experience in Java development. The successful candidate will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable web applications across both frontend and backend systems.

Primary Technologies Involved:

Frontend: Java Server Pages (JSP), HTML, CSS, jQuery

Backend: Java, Spring Boot

Database: MySQL Server

Server/Servlet: Caucho Resin Web Server

Additional Tools & Technologies:

  • Version Control: GitHub
  • CI/CD: CircleCI
  • Cloud: AWS
  • IDE: NetBeans, IntelliJ, or equivalent
  • Collaboration: Jira, Confluence
  • Monitoring: New Relic
  • AI Assistant: GitHub Copilot

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain robust web applications using Java and Spring Boot.
  • Design and implement clean, scalable backend architectures.
  • Build and optimise frontend interfaces using JSP, HTML, CSS, and jQuery.
  • Manage database operations and integrations with MySQL.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines and ensure application stability through AWS deployments.
  • Monitor performance using New Relic and troubleshoot production issues.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum 7 years of professional experience in Java development.
  • Strong expertise in Spring Boot and full stack web development.
  • Solid understanding of frontend technologies (JSP, HTML, CSS, jQuery).
  • Experience with MySQL and web server environments such as Caucho Resin.
  • Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD (CircleCI), and agile tools (Jira, Confluence).
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
