We are seeking an experienced HR Generalist with deep payroll expertise and proven hands-on experience using UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) or equivalent HRIS/payroll software. This role supports payroll accuracy, HR compliance, and employee lifecycle management while helping streamline scheduling and rota management. The ideal candidate is a problem solver who can optimize processes and reduce the administrative burden on staff.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing using UKG or equivalent payroll software, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
  • Maintain and update HRIS records, ensuring accuracy of employee data, timekeeping, benefits, and scheduling.
  • Set up and manage staff rotas, ensuring fair distribution of shifts and minimizing the time staff spend on scheduling.
  • Support employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, offboarding, and employee records.
  • Provide guidance on HR policies, payroll queries, and benefits.
  • Ensure accurate reporting and statutory compliance with applicable regulations.
  • Partner with managers to resolve HR or payroll-related challenges efficiently.
  • Assist with recruitment, employee engagement, and performance management initiatives.
  • Generate HR and payroll reports for leadership and finance teams.
  • Lead process improvements, automation, and best practices for payroll and rota management.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 3–5 years of HR experience, with strong payroll expertise.
  • Very experienced with payroll software, especially UKG or equivalent.
  • Demonstrated problem-solving skills and ability to streamline processes.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in multinational or outsourcing companies.
  • Familiarity with rota planning and workforce scheduling software.
