Job Summary:

The Purchasing Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing the company's procurement activities to ensure the timely, cost-effective, and efficient acquisition of goods, materials, and services. The role ensures compliance with company policies and procurement standards, maintains supplier relationships, and supports operational requirements across all business units of Limketkai Sons, Inc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement purchasing strategies that align with the company's objectives and cost-saving goals.
  • Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the purchasing team to ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
  • Evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts with suppliers and service providers to achieve favorable terms and conditions.
  • Establish and maintain an approved list of suppliers and ensure their compliance with quality, price, and delivery standards.
  • Review and approve purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and other procurement-related documents.
  • Monitor inventory levels and collaborate with other departments to forecast demand and plan procurement schedules accordingly.
  • Analyze market trends and supplier performance to identify opportunities for improvement or alternative sourcing.
  • Ensure adherence to company procurement policies, ethical standards, and audit requirements.
  • Coordinate with the Finance Department for timely payment processing and cost tracking.
  • Provide regular procurement reports and analysis to management.
  • Lead, coach, and evaluate purchasing staff to maintain efficiency and professionalism within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or related field.
  • At least 5 years of relevant experience in procurement or purchasing management, preferably in a corporate or industrial setting.
  • Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficient in procurement systems, MS Office applications, and ERP tools (e.g., Odoo or SAP is an advantage).
  • High level of integrity, professionalism, and attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php55,000.00 per month
