The Technical Standards Lead is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and monitoring technical and operational standards within the manufacturing process. This position ensures that production methods, materials, and documentation conform to company, customer, and regulatory requirements.

The role also leads process validation, compliance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production efficiency and product quality.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

1. Technical Standards Development

Develop and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), Work Instructions, and process documentation.

Ensure all production and process standards meet internal, customer, and regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to align standards with plant operations.

  1. Process Validation and Compliance

Conduct process audits to ensure compliance with technical standards and operational guidelines.

Validate new processes, materials, or equipment before full-scale production.

Coordinate implementation of engineering changes and ensure documentation updates.

Support compliance with ISO, GMP, and Safety requirements.

  1. Continuous Improvement

Analyze process data to identify improvement opportunities and corrective actions.

Recommend and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, quality, and safety.

Participate in Lean Manufacturing and process optimization projects.

  1. Documentation and Control

Maintain accurate and updated documentation of all standards, processes, and technical revisions.

Control versioning, approval, and release of all technical documents.

Ensure accessibility and awareness of updated procedures across all relevant departments.

  1. Technical Support and Training

Provide technical guidance and support to production teams on process-related issues.

Conduct training for employees on new or revised technical standards.

Serve as liaison between Planning, Production, and Quality for any technical documentation or process changes.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering.

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical or process standardization within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of ISO standards, GMP, and Lean Manufacturing practices.

Strong background in SOP development, process validation, and auditing.

Excellent documentation, communication, and analytical skills.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
