Job Summary:

The Technical Standards Lead is responsible for establishing, maintaining, and monitoring technical and operational standards within the manufacturing process. This role ensures that production methods, materials, and outputs meet company, customer, and regulatory requirements. The position also supports continuous improvement, process validation, and compliance with industry standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Standard Development and Implementation
  • Develop and maintain technical standards, SOPs, and work instructions across production areas.
  • Ensure all manufacturing processes comply with quality, safety, and engineering specifications.
  • Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams to align operational standards.
  • Process Validation and Compliance
  • Conduct process audits and ensure adherence to established standards and best practices.
  • Validate new processes, materials, or equipment before full-scale implementation.
  • Ensure compliance with ISO, GMP, and other applicable industry or customer requirements.
  • Continuous Improvement and Technical Support
  • Analyze process data to identify gaps and improvement opportunities.
  • Recommend and implement corrective and preventive actions to maintain process integrity.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, records, and revision histories.
  • Prepare reports on standard compliance, deviations, and improvement results.
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper document control and version updates.
  • Innovation and Optimization
  • Lead initiatives to improve product consistency, process efficiency, and reliability.
  • Evaluate new technologies or materials that enhance manufacturing capability.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, or related field)
  • Minimum 3–5 years of experience in technical or process standardization within a manufacturing environment
  • Strong understanding of ISO standards, Lean Manufacturing, and 5S practices
  • Experience in SOP writing, process validation, and technical auditing
  • Excellent communication, analytical, and leadership skills

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: From Php16,000.00 per month
