Domestic Freight Supervisor

Job Description:

Responsible for overseeing domestic freight operations, ensuring timely pickups for FCL (Full Container Loads, LCL (Loose Container Loads), and direct truck shipments. Coordinates with internal teams for billing and ensures compliance with service level agreements. Manages teams to maintain smooth logistics flow, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Oversee Domestic Freight Operations. Ensure timely pickups for Full Container Loads, Loose Container Loads, and Direct Truck Shipments
  • Manage Freight Flow Processes.
  • Coordinate bookings, loading and unloading of trucks and containers, issue status update, among others
  • Ensure team compliance with company policies and standards.
  • Collaborate with service providers, warehouse and transport team, sales team, and customers/principals.
  • Ensure seamless coordination for timely booking, pick-up, and delivery of shipments.
  • Cost Analysis and Optimization: Analyze costs to select cost-effective options. Avoid costs which are unbillable to customers
  • Identify opportunities to maximize revenue within freight operations. Negotiate favorable terms with service providers.

Requirements:

  • Holds a college degree (preferably in Business Management/ Supply Chain Management/Industrial Engineering but not required)
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Supervisor, with over 7 years of experience in Logistics
