About the Role
The Marketplace Partner Manager is responsible for building and maintaining trusted relationships with partners to drive mutual success and satisfaction. This role combines strategic engagement with hands-on execution—partner onboarding, sales enablement, referral tracking, and co-marketing—ensuring partners thrive in Deltek's Marketplace ecosystem. You'll work in a dynamic, collaborative environment with innovative software products and industries, contributing directly to the growth of Deltek's partner network.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and nurture strong, trusted relationships with partners, demonstrating a focus on partner needs and satisfaction.
- Conduct regular partner meetings, set agendas, and follow up on agreed actions with all stakeholders.
- Maintain a clear understanding of each partner's value proposition and provide status updates and next steps to management.
- Manage multiple projects and partner relationships simultaneously, ensuring timely completion of tasks and deliverables.
- Own partner onboarding from kickoff to Marketplace listing launch; ensure templates and assets are delivered on time.
- Enable sales teams with partner overviews, discovery scripts, and resource guides; keep content accurate and accessible.
- Monitor partner success, track key metrics, and capture accurate information to measure program value.
- Follow up on referral status, validate attribution, and support quarterly commission reporting.
- Assist in planning and executing co-marketing programs (campaigns, events, blogs, social) to promote partners effectively.
- Coordinate communications across internal teams, anticipate issues, facilitate conflict resolution, and escalate matters as needed.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in Alliances, Customer Success, Business Development, or Partner Management.
- Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written English communication skills.
- Demonstrated curiosity and willingness to learn about new industries and software products.
- Collaborative work style with ability to build credibility and strong relationships internally and externally.
- Detail-oriented and critical thinker with ability to manage multiple priorities and maintain high productivity.
- Ability to operate effectively in U.S. time zones (EST or CST).
