We are currently seeking Steel Detailers (Editors) to join our Shop Detailing team, catering to the increasing demand for executing complex Mining and Infrastructure projects throughout Australia. The expansion of our project portfolio necessitates the addition of Steel Detailers who can bring their expertise to our team of seasoned professionals. Our organization is in a period of robust growth, supported by a strong pipeline of projects, indicating our ongoing success in the industry. While the role offers flexibility, we prioritize an office-based work model. This approach is a cornerstone of our operational success and is reflective of our commitment to fostering a collaborative and thriving team culture.

Responsibilities

· Generate accurate fabrication and erection drawings from 3D models or plans.

· Prepare and modify existing drawings.

· Regularly track and report on project progress and results.

· Follow strict quality control processes to meet the company's high standards.

· Meet tight deadlines for delivering shop drawings to ensure timely steel fabrication.

We're looking for someone with

· Knowledge / proficient in Tekla Structures (3D modelling software).

· Prior experience working as a Steel Detailer (Editor) producing shop drawings.

· Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

· Detail-oriented with a commitment to quality.

· Experienced with commercial, industrial, and mining projects.

· Knowledgeable in Australian project standards and specifications.

· Able to interpret architectural and structural drawings to pre-emptively address issues.

· Capable of working efficiently under tight deadlines.

· Organized, with the ability to monitor and drive project progress to completion.
