About the role

We are seeking a passionate Structural Detailer - Tekla to join our engineering team at Century Iron Works, Incorporated' in Valenzuela City Metro Manila. As a full-time Structural Detailer, you will play a crucial role in the design and development of our structural engineering projects, using Tekla software to create detailed drawings and models.

What you'll be doing

  1. Producing 3D models and detailed drawings of structural steel and concrete elements using Tekla software
  2. Collaborating with engineers to interpret design requirements and translate them into accurate and compliant technical drawings
  3. Ensuring designs adhere to relevant building codes, standards and client specifications
  4. Coordinating with fabrication and construction teams to provide technical support and resolve any issues
  5. Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in Tekla software and structural engineering best practices
  6. Contributing to the continuous improvement of our design processes and standards

What we're looking for

  1. Degree in Civil Engineering or related field
  2. Minimum 3 years' experience in structural design and detailing, preferably using Tekla software
  3. Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, specifications and design calculations
  4. Strong working knowledge of relevant building codes and construction standards
  5. Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work effectively with engineers, fabricators and contractors
  6. Attention to detail and the ability to produce high-quality, error-free technical drawings
  7. Willingness to stay up-to-date with the latest software updates and industry developments
