We got you covered Work Arrangement Work from Office Schedule Night shift Responsibilities Review and validate structural steel design calculations and drawings. Check and coordinate the work of detailers and modelers. Verify that projects meet applicable codes, standards, and regulations. Collaborate with engineering teams to correct any discrepancies or design issues or for connections and calculations. Prepare detailed reports documenting inspection results and recommendations for corrective actions. Ensure that structural steel items are fabricated and assembled according to quality standards. Manage and track change orders. Review drawings and error management. Qualifications and Requirements Proven experience as a structural steel checker or in a similar role. In-depth knowledge of steel design codes and industry standards. Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to identify and resolve issues effectively. Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in reviewing technical documents. Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders. Proficient in using relevant software and tools for design and inspection processes, i.e. TEKLA. Certification or formal education in structural engineering or related fields is preferred.
