Role Overview

The Marketing Officer is responsible for driving brand visibility, member engagement, and revenue growth across all branches of The Lab Boxing & Muay Thai Gym. This role combines content creation, social media management, event coordination, and brand partnership development. You will be the engine behind our online presence and a key contributor to our growth strategy.

Key Responsibilities1. Social Media Management

  • Plan, schedule, and publish posts across Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.
  • Maintain a consistent brand voice and aesthetic aligned with The Lab brand standards.
  • Monitor comments, messages, and inquiries to ensure fast, professional customer response.
  • Track engagement metrics and optimize content based on performance.

2. Content Creation

  • Generate ideas and produce photo, video, and short-form content (TikTok, Reels, IG stories).
  • Film and edit training clips, client highlights, behind-the-scenes content, promotional videos, etc.
  • Coordinate shoots during peak hours to capture real, authentic gym moments.
  • Work with outsourced creatives (if any) and ensure timelines are met.

3. Community Engagement & Events

  • Support and help execute Fight Day, gym activations, seasonal promos, and other branded events.
  • Create event materials (posters, teasers, recap videos).
  • Assist with event logistics, check-ins, and coverage.
  • Drive attendance and engagement through online announcements and partnerships.

4. Brand Collaborations & Partnerships

  • Identify and build relationships with local brands, influencers, lifestyle companies, and creators.
  • Propose collab ideas that align with The Lab's positioning and customer base.
  • Coordinate barter deals, cross-promotions, and co-branded content.
  • Evaluate partnership results and recommend improvements.

5. Sales-Driven Marketing

  • Develop marketing ideas that influence revenue — e.g.,
  • Class bundles
  • Membership promos
  • Challenges and referral programs
  • Collaboration bundles with other brands
  • Monitor and report on marketing ROI based on leads, conversions, and foot traffic.

6. Administrative & Reporting

  • Maintain a monthly content calendar.
  • Prepare weekly performance summaries (reach, leads, inquiries, conversions).
  • Track marketing expenses and work within budget.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all materials and platforms.

Qualifications

  • 1–3 years experience in marketing, content creation, or social media.
  • Strong knowledge of Meta, IG, TikTok trends, hashtags, and engagement tactics.
  • Basic to intermediate photo/video editing skills (CapCut, Canva, Adobe optional).
  • Strong communication skills and customer engagement mindset.
  • Highly creative, proactive, and able to work with minimal supervision.
  • Interest in fitness, boxing/Muay Thai, or lifestyle content is a huge plus.
