The Trade Marketing Associate is responsible for planning, developing, and executing trade marketing programs to enhance brand presence, drive product visibility, and increase sales in retail and distribution channels. This role works closely with the sales and marketing teams to ensure alignment between marketing strategies and trade execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement trade marketing plans and promotional campaigns to support product sell-out.
  • Coordinate with sales teams to execute channel-specific strategies and ensure trade compliance.
  • Manage in-store visibility through displays, POS materials, and merchandising execution.
  • Monitor and analyze trade performance, market trends, and competitor activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of trade promotions and recommend improvements.
  • Maintain strong relationships with retailers, distributors, and key trade partners.
  • Support product launches, events, and brand activations in coordination with marketing and sales.
  • Manage trade marketing budgets and ensure cost-effective execution.
  • Prepare regular reports and presentations on campaign results and market insights.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in trade marketing, sales, or brand management (preferably in FMCG, retail, or cosmetics).
  • Strong understanding of trade marketing principles, retail operations, and merchandising.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and data analysis.
  • Detail-oriented, creative, and able to manage multiple projects.
  • Willing to travel for trade visits and events.
