Job Summary
The Part-Time Human Resource Manager is responsible for managing and supervising all HR functions of the company, including recruitment, employee relations, payroll coordination, training, and labor compliance.
This role operates primarily remote, with flexibility in schedule, but the HR Manager must be on-call and available to report on-site when necessary for employee orientations, investigations, compliance audits, or meetings.
The position plays a vital role in ensuring that HR operations are efficient, policies are compliant with Philippine labor laws, and employees remain motivated and productive across all branches.
Key Responsibilities
1. Recruitment & Onboarding
- Develop and implement recruitment plans for various positions across branches.
- Conduct interviews, background checks, and pre-employment requirements.
- Prepare employment contracts and ensure proper onboarding and orientation for new hires.
- Maintain and update the employee master list and personnel records.
2. HR Administration & Compliance
- Draft and enforce HR policies, contracts, and employee handbooks.
- Oversee attendance, leave tracking, and disciplinary documentation.
- Review payroll reports in coordination with Accounting and Finance departments.
- Ensure compliance with DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, and other government regulations.
- Monitor updates on wage orders and implement salary adjustments accordingly.
3. Employee Relations
- Serve as the main point of contact for employee concerns and HR issues.
- Conduct investigations and recommend appropriate disciplinary actions.
- Maintain positive employee relations and promote company values and work ethics.
- Facilitate communication between management and staff to build a healthy workplace culture.
4. Training & Development
- Identify training needs and create development programs (e.g., POS system use, safety procedures, customer service).
- Conduct or coordinate training sessions for new and existing staff.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide improvement recommendations.
5. Reporting & Documentation
- Prepare HR-related reports (headcount, turnover rate, attendance summary, training logs).
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee records and files.
- Support management in audits and HR process improvements.
6. On-Call & Site Visits
- Remain reachable during business hours for urgent HR concerns.
- Visit branches or offices as needed for orientations, investigations, or compliance checks.
- Coordinate with branch managers and supervisors for on-site HR tasks and inspections.
- Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Psychology, Business Administration, or any related field.
- At least 2–5 years of proven experience in HR management, preferably in multi-branch or retail operations.
- Knowledge of Philippine Labor Laws, DOLE compliance, and payroll systems is required.
- Must have strong leadership, communication, and decision-making skills.
Certifications (preferred or required):
Certified Human Resource Professional (CHRP) or Certified Human Resource Manager (CHRM) — People Management Association of the Philippines (PMAP).
- DOLE-accredited Labor Standards Compliance or Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) Training for Managers/Supervisors.
- Data Privacy Act Compliance (National Privacy Commission).
- (Optional but advantageous) HR Analytics, Payroll System Training, or international credentials such as SHRM-CP or PHR.
- Must be tech-savvy and familiar with HR software, time-tracking tools, and online recruitment platforms.
- Must be available on-call for on-site visits, investigations, or compliance audits when required.

Work Schedule
The Part-Time Human Resource Manager shall operate under a flexible and remote work arrangement while ensuring compliance with the Labor Code of the Philippines for part-time employment.
· Weekly Hours Expectation: Approximately 20 to 25 hours per week, depending on company needs and operational requirements.
· Working Days: Monday to Saturday (with Sunday as a mandatory rest day in compliance with DOLE regulations).
· Core Hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (must be reachable during these hours for coordination, online meetings, or urgent HR concerns).
· Daily Working Hours: Not to exceed 5 hours per day under the part-time arrangement.
· Work Arrangement: Primarily remote, with flexibility to manage hours independently, provided that HR reports, recruitment, payroll coordination, and compliance deliverables are submitted on time.
· On-Call Availability: The HR Manager must remain reachable during business hours for urgent HR matters such as employee incidents, DOLE inspections, or management directives.
· On-Site Visits: Required only when necessary for employee orientations, compliance audits, disciplinary hearings, or management meetings. Advance notice will be given for scheduled visits.
The schedule may be adjusted during critical HR periods (e.g., payroll cut-offs, DOLE inspections, or new branch onboarding) upon mutual agreement. Any work rendered beyond the agreed 25 hours per week shall be compensated accordingly at the applicable rate
