Job Title: Senior CRM & Email Marketing Manager

Overview:

We're hiring a data-driven Senior CRM & Email Marketing Manager to lead the strategy and execution of multi-channel campaigns that drive customer activation, engagement, and long-term retention. This role works closely with product, growth, data, and customer success teams to boost lifetime value (LTV) and reduce churn through targeted, automated communication.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategy & Roadmap: Develop and own the full CRM and email marketing strategy across onboarding, activation, engagement, retention, and win-back.
  • Customer Journeys: Design automated, behavior-based journeys across email, push, in-app, SMS, and on-site messaging.
  • Campaign Management: Plan, launch, and optimize always-on and seasonal campaigns with clear audience segmentation and testing.
  • Experimentation: Run A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, timing, and incentives. Scale winning strategies.
  • Segmentation & Personalization: Use customer data to deliver relevant, dynamic content by lifecycle stage and predicted value.
  • Analytics & Reporting: Manage dashboards tracking activation, retention, churn, reactivation, and LTV. Turn insights into measurable actions.
  • Churn Reduction: Identify at-risk users, launch save offers and educational campaigns, and work with product/support to address root causes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product, growth, and data teams for tracking, automation, and attribution improvements.
  • Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure compliance with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and CASL. Maintain sender reputation and list hygiene.
  • Team & Vendor Management: Mentor junior marketers and manage CRM tools, vendors, and budgets.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • 3–8+ years in CRM, email marketing, or retention with proven KPI ownership.
  • Hands-on experience with email automation, push, and in-app messaging.
  • Proficient with platforms such as HubSpot, Braze, Iterable, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, or
  • Strong data analysis skills; knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Looker, Mixpanel, Amplitude) a plus.
  • Experience with A/B testing, segmentation, and deliverability best practices.
  • Excellent communication, project management, and stakeholder coordination.
