Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Backend Software Engineer with strong experience in building scalable, high-performance APIs and backend services. You will work closely with our product and frontend teams to design, develop, and maintain robust server-side applications using (TypeScript), Python, or Go, with a focus on delivering reliable and efficient systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs (GraphQL or REST).
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code using (TypeScript), Python, and/or Go.
  • Implement and optimize database queries and schema design.
  • Ensure the scalability, performance, and security of backend systems.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Debug and troubleshoot production issues.
  • Work with CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or similar).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in backend software development.
  • Proficiency in (TypeScript) and at least one of Python or Go.
  • Experience with GraphQL or RESTful API design and development.
  • Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
  • Familiarity with relational and/or NoSQL databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
  • Knowledge of containerization (Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with microservices architecture.
  • Knowledge of event-driven systems and message brokers (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.).
  • Familiarity with cloud-native development and DevOps practices.
  • Passion for performance optimization and system reliability.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term

Pay: Php40,000.00 per month
