A Senior Software Engineer with expertise in ReactJS and TypeScript is sought to join a dynamic startup led by a Silicon Valley-experienced founder. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality web applications using ReactJS and TypeScript.
  • Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, and backend engineers to deliver seamless user experiences.
  • Architect scalable and maintainable front-end solutions that align with business goals.
  • Mentor junior engineers and contribute to building best practices and coding standards.
  • Participate in code reviews, ensuring code quality, performance, and security.
  • Stay up to date with emerging front-end technologies and industry trends to continuously improve the product.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in a timely manner.
  • Contribute to the overall technical roadmap and product strategy.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years of professional experience in front-end development with a strong focus on ReactJS and TypeScript.
  • Deep understanding of React ecosystem, including hooks, context API, state management libraries (e.g., Redux, MobX).
  • Proficient in modern JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScript best practices.
  • Experience with front-end build tools and workflows (Webpack, Babel, npm/yarn).
  • Solid knowledge of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming.
  • Familiarity with testing frameworks such as Jest, React Testing Library, or Cypress.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a startup environment.
  • Excellent communication skills and experience collaborating in cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and cloud platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for clean code, performance optimization, and user experience.

Preferred Attributes

  • Previous experience working in startups or fast-paced environments.
  • Exposure to backend technologies , GraphQL) is advantageous.
  • Understanding of UX/UI principles and ability to work closely with designers.
