Job Responsibilities:

  • Proficiency in Web application programming: Knowledge of VB.NET is a bonus
  • Has experience creating API (REST)
  • Database Integration: Experience with database integration is crucial. The candidate should be familiar with SQL Server or other relational database systems and be able to write efficient database queries
  • Web Development Technologies: Knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other web development technologies is important for creating user interfaces and client-side interactions.
  • Experience with Web Services and APIs: Experience in integrating with web services and APIs using VB.NET/Other language is valuable, as many modern web applications rely on external services for functionality.
  • Understanding of Web Security: Ensure the candidate has a good understanding of web security principles and practices, including authentication, authorization, and data encryption.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Look for problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and debug web applications effectively.
  • Team Collaboration: Assess the candidate's ability to collaborate with other team members, such as designers, testers, and project managers, to deliver high-quality web projects.
  • Experience with Source Control: Familiarity with version control systems like Git is essential for managing code changes and collaborating with other developers.
  • Communication Skills: Effective communication skills are crucial for discussing project requirements, providing updates, and collaborating with team members.
  • Continuous Learning and Adaptability: Look for candidates willing to learn new technologies and adapt to changes in the web development landscape.

Education and Experience Requirements:

  • Any bachelor's degree in CompSci or related courses
  • with 2 to 3 years of experience
