Work from Home, Philippines Delivering Data Analytics (DDA) Ph Inc Full time ₱35,000 - ₱100,000 per year

Role overview:

Lead the design and development of a cross-platform desktop/web application. You will define the overall software architecture and coding standards, mentor developers, and ensure high performance, maintainability, and security. This includes building Electron/React frontends and backends that integrate AI/ASR components. You will collaborate with stakeholders to translate requirements into technical designs and guide the team through implementation.

Key responsibilities:

  • Architect and implement the full-stack solution (Electron + React frontend; backend).
  • Lead and mentor the development team; conduct design and code reviews to enforce best practices.
  • Define project architecture (APIs, microservices, data storage, CI/CD pipelines) and ensure it scales securely.
  • Work with product owners to refine requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
  • Integrate third-party services (e.g. LLM or ASR APIs) and orchestrate API workflows.
  • Optimize system performance and troubleshoot complex issues across the stack.

Required qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of software development, with demonstrable full-stack experience in JavaScript ) and Python.
  • Strong experience with React and Electron (or similar desktop frameworks).
  • Prior experience in a lead or architect role on production projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills; able to work independently and guide a team.

Preferred skills/experience:

  • Experience with cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure), Docker/Kubernetes, and microservices architectures.
  • Familiarity with AI/ML concepts, LLM-based systems (OpenAI, etc.), and ASR/speech-processing (e.g. Whisper, Google Speech-to-Text).
  • Knowledge of database design (SQL/NoSQL), authentication (OAuth, JWT), and enterprise security best practices.
  • Previous work with real-time or multimedia applications (WebSockets, audio/video streaming).
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum processes and modern DevOps tools (GitLab CI/CD, Jira, etc.).

Location:

Initially remote; must eventually work on-site at our office in BGC (Taguig, Metro Manila). Contract type: Open to full-time regular employment or fixed-term contract.

Pay: Php35, Php100,000.00 per month
