Job Overview
We are seeking a seasoned Business Development Partner to join our executive team. This key role involves driving business growth, establishing strategic partnerships, and enhancing our market presence. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the software development industry, a robust network of contacts, and the ability to develop and execute effective business strategies.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
Develop and implement comprehensive business development strategies that align with the company's vision and objectives. - Market Expansion:
Identify and pursue new business opportunities, target markets, and strategic partnerships to grow our client base and service offerings. - Client Relationships:
Build and nurture strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders, ensuring high client satisfaction and retention levels. - Sales Leadership:
Lead the sales efforts, including setting targets, guiding the sales team, and achieving business development goals. - Negotiation and Closing:
Oversee the negotiation and closing of major deals and contracts, securing favorable terms for the company. - Market Analysis:
Conduct detailed market research to stay informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and potential growth areas. - Collaboration:
Collaborate with the development, consulting, and executive teams to align business development efforts with operational capabilities and company goals. - Mentorship:
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior business development staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Requirements
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (Master's degree preferred). - Experience:
Extensive experience in business development, sales, or a related role within the software development or consulting industry. - Skills:
- In-depth understanding of software development processes and services.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build and maintain high-level business relationships.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
