We are seeking Deputy Project Manager with a degree in Electronics/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering/Architecture (or any related field) for Railway Projects.

Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and manage comprehensive project plans, including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies.

  2. Supervise and advise design team and installation team of technical aspects for railway system on behalf of Project Manager

  3. Manage project communication by holding regular meetings, creating status reports, and keeping stakeholders informed.

  4. Attend weekly meetings with stakeholders such as clients/ partners/ team members

  5. Foster a collaborative and productive work environment within project teams.

  6. Monitor industry trends, standards, and regulations to ensure project alignment with compliance requirements.

  7. Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement changes to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

  8. Undertake the creation of technical documents and reports as part of the project's documentation process

  9. Serve as the primary point of contact for the civil and other systems teams, ensuring effective communication and coordination for the smooth execution of the project

  10. In close collaboration with stakeholders, he will be responsible for the meticulous collection and analysis of project requirements

  11. Send weekly activity report to Director/ Project Manager

Qualifications:

  1. Bachelor's degree in Electronics, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil Engineering or related discipline.

  2. Minimum 8-10 years of experience in E&M works, preferably in railway or infrastructure projects.

  3. Prior experience in a supervisory or assistant project management role is highly desirable.

  4. Strong understanding of railway E&M or ELV systems and construction methodologies.

  5. Advanced ability to evaluate project progress and facilitate interventions.

  6. Ability to keep stakeholders informed of interface requirements and changes.

  7. Excellent organizational, time-management, and communication skills.

  8. Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks.

Job Type: Fixed term

Contract length: 12 months
