The Role

A Network Administrator, will be responsible for maintaining and managing our company's network infrastructure, ensuring its smooth operation, security, and availability. You will collaborate with the IT team and various departments to ensure efficient network performance, troubleshoot network issues, implement network upgrades, and provide technical support to end-users.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Perform day-to-day high level administration of the company's network infrastructure.
  • Perform regular security monitoring to identify any possible intrusions.
  • Investigate companies' network problems, identify their source, determine the solutions.
  • Manage and configure all network hardware and equipment, including routers, switches, hubs, and UPS. Install, maintain, upgrade, and troubleshoot routers, gateways, firewalls, Access points and other networking infrastructure for local area and wide area networks (LAN/WAN), including Internet connectivity.
  • Manage security solutions, including firewall, anti-virus, web security, anti-spam and intrusion detection systems.
  • Designs the network infrastructure system.
  • Identify utilization patterns and their effect on operation/system availability and performance expectations. Anticipate communication and networking problems and implement preventive measures.
  • Experience in WatchGuard firewall and ubiquity access point management is desired.

What You'll Bring

  • Graduate of Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent/related course
  • at least 2-3 years solid working experience in network technical support and/or network administrator role
  • Practical knowledge and experience in working with enterprise LAN / WAN / Wireless environments; preferably in administering/configuring firewall, router, Access point and switches.
  • General knowledge in server OS networking (i.e. Windows/Linux server OS connectivity troubleshooting & analysis)
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule
  • Willing to work onsite at Paranaque City

Bonus Points if you have:

  • Experience in Ubiquiti AP/switches and WatchGuard firewall administration.
