Job Description

· Prepare and analyze detailed cost reports, identifying trends and variances to support management decision-making

· Develop and implement cost control systems and procedures to ensure accurate and timely cost data

· Collaborate with production, procurement, and other departments to optimize costs and improve profitability

· Conduct cost-benefit analyses and feasibility studies for new projects or initiatives

· Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and forecasts

· Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies

· Provide training and support to team members on cost accounting practices

· Prepare and analyze the monthly Cost of Goods Sold (COGS) report

· Oversee inventory levels to minimize wastage and pilferages

· Conduct a regular stock takes and surprise spot check.

· Check and ensure all menu items have a recipe.

· Work closely with Chefs & Restaurant Manager to ensure that the menu items are priced correctly and to track food waste and identify areas where cost can be reduced without compromising quality.

· Reconciliation of intercompany transaction including but not limited to transfer of Raw Materials

· Continuously study weaknesses in internal control implemented at the Restaurant and provide suggestions for improvements

· Responsible for maintaining the Menu Pricing, Consumption, and POS systems

· Update selling prices in POS as per the instruction from authorized persons

· Coordinate with restaurant management and finance to sort out issues about F&B.

· Analyze and control food, labor, and operational costs, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving initiatives

· Develop and maintain financial models and reports to track costs and identify trends

· Collaborate with the culinary team to optimize menu engineering, inventory management, and supply chain logistics

· Conduct regular inventory audits and reconciliations to ensure accuracy and minimize waste

· Develop and implement cost control policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with company standards

· Provide financial guidance and support to department heads and management team

· Identify and investigate discrepancies in financial reports and statements

Job Requirements

· Preferably a graduate of Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or similar major

· At least 3 years experience working in the same role in a Restaurant Business

· Proficiency in MS Office applications, particularly MS Excel.

· Have experience with Accounting System, POS System and Cost & Inventory System

· Strong communication skills and ability to work with minimal supervision

· High level of accuracy and attention to details with strict sense of meeting deadlines

· Fresh Graduates are Welcome

· Proficient in the use of cost accounting software and tools

· Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams

· Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

· Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
