Job Summary:

The Accounting Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the accounting team and ensuring the accuracy and integrity of financial records. This role plays a key part in preparing financial reports, maintaining internal controls, and supporting audits. Proficiency in QuickBooks is essential, as the role requires daily use of the software for financial management and reporting.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a resident of Cavite or nearby cities as this is strictly work onsite.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA is a plus).
  • Minimum of 3–5 years of accounting experience, with at least 1–2 years in a supervisory role.
  • Proven hands-on experience using QuickBooks (Desktop or Online version).
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office tools.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and leadership skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and oversee the daily activities of the accounting team, including accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and journal entries.
  • Maintain and manage the company's financial records using QuickBooks, ensuring accuracy and consistency in entries and reports.
  • Review and approve transactions, reconciliations, and financial statements for accuracy and compliance with accounting standards (GAAP or applicable local standards).
  • Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
  • Coordinate internal and external audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accounting policies and internal controls.
  • Provide guidance, training, and performance feedback to accounting staff.
  • Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns and other government compliance requirements.
  • Support budgeting and forecasting activities.
