Key Responsibilities

  • Record-Keeping: Maintain and organize financial records, including journal entries and the general ledger.
  • Reconciliation: Reconcile bank statements and other financial accounts to ensure accuracy.
  • Financial Reporting: Assist in the preparation of financial statements, balance sheets, and income statements.
  • Month-End & Year-End Close: Support the accounting team with the monthly and annual financial closing processes.
  • Accounts Payable & Receivable: Handle basic accounts payable and receivable tasks.
  • Audit Support: Provide documentation and support for external and internal audits.
  • Compliance: Ensure that all accounting practices comply with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company policies.
  • Budgeting: Assist with the preparation and tracking of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Tax & Regulatory Reporting: Help prepare and file tax returns and other regulatory reports.
  • Analysis: Analyze financial data, identify discrepancies, and recommend solutions for improvement.
