Whizara is looking for a results-oriented creative recruitment specialist to build a high performance team and coordinate day-to-day business operations.

Whizara enables access to top-notch computer science and programming education to K-12 students, preparing kids to become creators rather than consumers of technology and thrive in careers of the 21st century. Job responsibilities:

  • Screen incoming applications from Whizara website and other portals
  • Assist and follow up with candidates when needed until onboarding
  • Craft creative candidate outreach plans to meet requirements
  • Plan and executive candidate outreach and tap into channels to ensure efficient recruitment
  • Communicate status across stakeholders to ensure smooth recruitment process: candidates, operations and hiring manager.
  • Strategize and execute recruitment strategy with quick turn around
  • Participate in further improving recruitment process

Job requirements:

  • Able to work during the US working hours (Pacific time)
  • An Associate or Bachelor's degree
  • At least 2 years full cycle recruitment experience
  • Experience working with US market is preferred - edtech, software, engineering and other similar industries
  • Fast learner and eager to learn new markets and requirements
  • Prior experience with recruitment, organizing and coordinating tasks in fast paced work environment
  • Organized, detail-oriented multitasker with prioritization skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Empathy, interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders, partners and customers
  • Comfortable using computers including MS Office, Google Suite
  • Creative with ability to think on feet and make split second decisions per the demand of the situation
