Responsibilities

  • Territory Management: Proactively manage and develop relationships with an assigned territory of retail hardware stores and construction accounts.
  • Product Sales: Actively promote and sell a diverse range of high-quality construction materials to meet and exceed sales targets.
  • Customer Support: Regularly visit clients to understand their needs, answer product questions, and assist customers in selecting the right materials for their projects.
  • Field Activity: Commit to a full-time field sales schedule, involving daily face-to-face visits with current and prospective clients.
  • Reporting: Complete weekly reports detailing daily calls, sales activities, and market feedback for regular performance evaluation.
  • Account Growth: Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the assigned territory.

Qualifications & Traits

  • Education: Vocational certificate required for this position.
  • Experience: No prior sales experience is required; we encourage anyone who is hardworking and eager to learn to apply Driver's licence/ obtained in 90 days required.
  • Training: Must be available and willing to participate fully in our structured, paid training programme.
  • Work Ethic: Must be hardworking, reliable, and possess a tenacious "get it done" attitude.
  • Mobility: Willingness to travel extensively for field sales activity; field assignment will depend on the needs of the company.
  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills to build quick rapport with clients.
  • Traits: Enthusiastic, Proactive, Tenacious, and Results-driven.
