Job Summary:

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the warehouse, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, safety, and compliance with company policies. This role involves managing warehouse staff, coordinating inventory, overseeing shipping and receiving, and maintaining a clean, organized facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, including scheduling and performance management.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping.
  • Ensure accurate inventory control and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Maintain a safe and clean work environment by enforcing company policies and safety standards.
  • Monitor and improve operational efficiency and productivity.
  • Communicate and coordinate with logistics, procurement, and customer service teams.
  • Ensure timely processing of orders and proper documentation of inbound and outbound shipments.
  • Operate and maintain warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.
  • Resolve issues related to shipment errors, damaged goods, or inventory discrepancies.
  • Generate reports related to inventory, productivity, and performance metrics.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience as a warehouse supervisor or in a similar role.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, safety procedures, and inventory management.
  • Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills (MS Office).
  • Strong leadership, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to lift heavy items and operate warehouse equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced warehouse environment.
  • May require extended periods of standing, lifting, or operating equipment.
