About the Role:

We are looking for a Warehouse Supervisor who will oversee and manage the daily operations of our warehouse for a fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG) company. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and disciplined, ensuring that all warehouse activities — from receiving to dispatch — are handled efficiently, accurately, and in compliance with company standards.

You will be directly responsible for supervising warehouse personnel, maintaining accurate inventory, ensuring product quality, and keeping the warehouse clean, safe, and well-organized at all times.

Key Responsibilities: Warehouse Operations Management

  • Oversee all incoming and outgoing stocks, ensuring accurate and timely receiving, checking, and dispatch.
  • Verify the accuracy, quantity, and quality of items received and released.
  • Ensure that all stock movements are properly documented and recorded both manually and in the system.
  • Coordinate closely with delivery and office teams to ensure completeness and accuracy of items loaded for dispatch.

Quality Control & Stock Monitoring

  • Inspect all incoming products for damage, quality issues, or near-expiry dates before acceptance.
  • Ensure FIFO (First In, First Out) and FEFO (First Expiry, First Out) methods are strictly implemented.
  • Regularly monitor and reconcile warehouse inventory against system records.
  • Conduct weekly and monthly physical inventory counts with warehouse staff.

Supervision & Staff Coordination

  • Supervise and assign daily tasks to warehouse personnel (checkers, helpers, loaders, etc.).
  • Monitor staff performance and enforce proper warehouse procedures and discipline.
  • Conduct daily briefings to align warehouse staff on priorities, deliveries, and incoming goods.
  • Train and coach warehouse personnel to improve efficiency and accuracy.

Warehouse Organization & Cleanliness

  • Maintain an organized, clean, and hazard-free warehouse environment at all times.
  • Ensure all stocks are properly labeled, stacked, and stored according to product category and expiration.
  • Implement and maintain proper layout, zoning, and stock arrangement for easy access and tracking.
  • Enforce cleanliness, pest control, and safety measures.

Reporting & Documentation

  • Prepare and submit daily warehouse reports, including receiving logs, dispatch summaries, and stock discrepancies.
  • Record and report any stock variances, damages, or losses immediately.
  • Coordinate with the accounting and operations departments for reconciliation of records.

Other Duties

  • Work closely with the Purchasing and Sales Departments for stock replenishment and delivery schedules.
  • Ensure proper handling and safekeeping of company property, tools, and warehouse equipment.
  • Assist in implementing warehouse policies and improvements for more efficient operations.

Qualifications:

  • Graduate of any Business, Logistics, or Supply Chain-related course (or equivalent experience).
  • At least 2–3 years of experience in warehouse supervision or management, preferably in an FMCG or distribution setting.
  • Strong attention to detail, integrity, and sense of accountability.
  • Knowledge in inventory management systems and MS Office applications.
  • Good leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Physically fit and willing to work in a fast-paced environment.
