Job Description

As a Senior Accountant, you'll oversee accounts receivable and revenue accounting, manage month-end close processes, support audits, and collaborate on projects that optimize financial workflows. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse accounting functions while contributing to business growth.

The Qualifications We Seek

  • 8+ years of accounting experience
  • 5+ years of experience in US companies with solid understanding of US GAAP
  • Startup company experience is a plus; SaaS company experience is also a plus
  • ASC 606 experience a plus
  • Bachelor's degree in accountancy
  • CPA preferred
  • Big 4 experience preferred
  • System savvy and able to troubleshoot systems independently
  • Intermediate user of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Oracle, or SAP
  • Proficiency in Accounts Payable software such as Airbase
  • Strong and proactive communicator with the ability to collaborate effectively with various stakeholders
  • Strong attention to detail; problem solver with the ability to juggle various priorities
  • Willingness to work in the US time zone
  • High-speed internet connection (minimum 20 Gbps) with backup connection

Your Daily Tasks

  • Own all aspects of Accounts Receivable and revenue accounting including customer invoicing, payment applications, collections, and revenue recognition
  • Assist with Accounts Payable, employee reimbursements, and banking transactions
  • Perform month-end close processes: transactions, reconciliations, journal entries, and schedules
  • Help prepare for annual external audits
  • Assist in evaluating and implementing new tools and processes
  • Maintain up-to-date internal policies and communication
  • Collaborate on various projects and ad-hoc reporting
