Now, we're looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to join our growing remote team and help oversee financial operations across all three brands.

What You'll Do

Daily Tasks

  • Manage daily accounting and administrative operations.
  • Oversee the finance inbox and respond to internal and external queries.
  • Complete bank reconciliations in collaboration with the Assistant Accountant.
  • Review and approve supplier invoices, purchase orders, and bills.

Weekly Tasks

  • Process payroll and file Single Touch Payroll (STP) submissions.
  • Collate and allocate staff timesheets.
  • Review debtors and creditors reports.
  • Prepare and monitor weekly cash flow forecasts.

Monthly Tasks

  • Prepare full management reports including Profit & Loss, Balance Sheet, and cost analyses.
  • Conduct monthly project and Work-In-Progress (WIP) reviews for each brand.
  • Reconcile payroll, superannuation, and statutory obligations.
  • Review retentions, bank guarantees, and financial risk areas.
  • Forecast cash flow and manage BAS and payroll tax lodgements.
  • Liaise with directors and external accountants for monthly reporting.
What We're Looking For
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA preferred).
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in accounting or finance, ideally within FMCG, e-commerce, or manufacturing/ Product based business.
  • Strong understanding of Balance Sheets, Profit & Loss, and Cash Flow management.
  • Excellent knowledge of BAS, GST, PAYG, Superannuation, Payroll Tax, and FBT.
  • Proficient in Xero and Excel/Google Sheets (experience with Cin7/Dear Systems and Shopify is highly regarded).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work autonomously in a remote setting.
  • Detail-oriented, proactive, and able to meet deadlines across multiple entities.
