Key Responsibilities

  • Lead IT projects supporting retail operations, including POS systems, ERP, e-commerce platforms, inventory, and CRM solutions.
  • Oversee project lifecycle from planning to implementation, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
  • Collaborate with retail, merchandising, supply chain, and finance teams to align IT initiatives with business objectives.
  • Manage vendor coordination for system implementation, upgrades, and support.
  • Ensure system integrations across physical stores, warehouses, and online platforms run smoothly.
  • Conduct risk assessments and establish contingency plans for critical retail IT systems.
  • Develop and enforce IT project management standards, documentation, and governance processes.
  • Monitor and evaluate project KPIs, preparing regular reports for senior management.
  • Provide leadership and mentoring to IT staff involved in retail technology projects.
  • Ensure data security, system reliability, and compliance with industry regulations.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field (Master's degree a plus).
  • At least 5–8 years of IT management experience with strong exposure to retail systems and digital transformation projects.
  • Solid background in Project Management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, hybrid).
  • Strong experience managing POS, ERP (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and e-commerce platform projects.
  • Familiarity with omnichannel retail technology, store systems, and payment gateway integrations.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Trello, Asana).
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills; able to bridge IT solutions with business needs.
  • Strong vendor management and negotiation experience.
  • Certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, Agile/Scrum Master, or ITIL preferred.
