KMIS STAFF ACCOUNTANT

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with Knight's accounting team to gather, organize, and analyze financial data.
  • Review and extract information from Knight's historical financial statements, filings, and reports.
  • Prepare, validate, and assist in submitting financial filings to regulators (state insurance departments, NAIC, etc.).
  • Perform data integrity checks and reconcile data across multiple systems and sources.
  • Support month-end and quarter-end financial close processes by providing data summaries and variance analysis.
  • Collaborate with U.S.-based team members to ensure consistency, accuracy, and confidentiality of all financial data.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Data Analytics, or related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in accounting data analysis, financial reporting, or related role.
  • Advanced Excel skills (including pivot tables, lookups, Power Query, macros, and data visualization).
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work with large, complex financial datasets.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
  • Ability to handle sensitive financial information with the highest level of confidentiality.
