Job Summary:

Responsible for supporting organizational compliance with data privacy laws and regulations by implementing protection policies, managing privacy-related risks and incidents, and fostering a culture of data privacy across all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and maintenance of data privacy policies and procedures.
  • Monitor organizational compliance with applicable data privacy laws, regulations, and best practices.
  • Support the identification, assessment, and mitigation of privacy-related risks.
  • Assist in managing and investigating data privacy incidents and breaches, including documentation and reporting.
  • Coordinate and deliver data privacy training and awareness programs for employees.
  • Conduct regular privacy audits and assessments to ensure ongoing compliance.
  • Collaborate with various departments to ensure that data privacy requirements are integrated into business processes and projects.
  • Maintain records of processing activities and ensure proper documentation of data privacy practices.
  • Respond to data subject requests and inquiries in accordance with legal and regulatory requirements.
  • Stay updated on developments in data privacy laws and recommend necessary changes to policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., Data Privacy Act, GDPR, etc.).
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with integrity.
  • Experience in compliance, risk management, or a related field is an advantage.
  • Amenable to work onsite at Libis Quezon City.
