Job Description

As a Collections Officer - Strategic Collections, you'll handle a portfolio of overdue accounts, ensuring ethical and effective recovery within company guidelines and Australian regulations. You'll collaborate closely with your onshore team to drive performance, maintain compliance, and deliver results through professionalism and empathy.

Shift: Day Shift, Weekends Off (AU hours, semi-flexible; may change after 3 months or depending on business needs)

Salary: PHP 40,000

Start date: February 2, 2026

Work setup: Onsite - Clark, Pampanga

The Qualifications We Seek

• 3 years' relevant experience
• Experience in debt recovery or collections (financial services preferred)
• Familiarity with Australian debt collection laws
• Strong negotiation and communication skills
• Proficient with Microsoft Office and collection software
• High attention to detail, accuracy, and commitment to compliance
• Ability to manage competing priorities and demonstrate resilience in high-volume environments

Your Daily Tasks

• Undertake inbound and outbound collection calls on assigned accounts
• Negotiate repayment plans within company guidelines and monitor adherence
• Assess customer financial circumstances to determine appropriate solutions
• Enter accurate information into the collection system and payment portal
• Identify and escalate complex or sensitive cases to the Team Leader
• Conduct skip tracing and use authorised systems to locate customers
• Adhere to all relevant Australian legislation and internal policies, including Strategic Collections procedures, ACCC/ASIC guidelines, and privacy requirements
• Participate in training, performance reviews, and team initiatives
• Maintain professionalism, empathy, and resilience in all customer interactions
