Job Overview

We are looking for a detail-oriented and reliable General Accountant to join our team in the Philippines. The role will handle end-to-end accounting functions, statutory compliance, and financial reporting while ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all financial transactions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Handle daily accounting transactions including Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and General Ledger entries.
  • Prepare and maintain financial statements, reports, and records.
  • Manage payroll processing and employee reimbursements.
  • Coordinate with banks for transactions, reconciliations, and funding requirements.
  • Support internal and external audits by providing required data and documents.
  • Maintain accurate financial documentation and filing for audit and compliance purposes.
  • Collaborate with HR, Admin, and Operations for finance-related processes.
  • Maintain contracts, invoices, and payment records.
  • Monitor working capital and ensure timely vendor and statutory payments.
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis for management review.
  • Ensure compliance with Philippine statutory requirements and applicable laws.
  • Handle BIR filings (VAT, withholding tax, income tax, etc.), Coordinate with LGU for business permits and renewals.
  • Manage regulatory and government reporting: SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG contributions and remittances
  • Ensure compliance with SEC, PEZA, or other relevant government agencies.

Required Skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least 3+ years of solid accounting experience, preferably in IT Industry.
  • Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws and government compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting systems/software.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High attention to detail and ability to work independently.
  • Certified Public Accountant (CPA) license preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php40, Php60,000.00 per month
