About the role

At New Flavor House, Inc., we are seeking a dedicated Food Safety Coordinator to play a vital role in ensuring the safety and quality of our food products. As a full-time member of our team based in Malabon City, Metro Manila, you will be responsible for implementing and monitoring our food safety protocols to protect our customers and maintain our high standards.

What you'll be doing

  • Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive food safety programmes that adhere to industry regulations and best practices
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of our production facilities, processes, and products to identify and address potential safety risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to investigate and resolve any food safety-related incidents or complaints
  • Provide training and guidance to production staff on food safety protocols and procedures
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food safety regulations and trends, and recommend improvements to our processes
  • Maintain detailed records and documentation to ensure regulatory compliance

What we're looking for

  • Degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in a food safety or quality assurance role, preferably within the food technology industry
  • Strong knowledge of food safety regulations, standards, and best practices
  • Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and address food safety issues
  • Proficient in data analysis and report writing
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional teams
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety
