About the role

New Flavor House, Inc. is seeking a talented and experienced Food Safety Team Leader to join our growing organisation. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for leading a team of food safety professionals to ensure our production processes and food products meet the highest safety standards. The position is based in our Potrero Malabon City facility in Metro Manila.

What you'll be doing

  • Oversee and coordinate the food safety programs and initiatives across our production facilities
  • Manage a team of food safety specialists and technicians, providing leadership, training, and performance management
  • Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify and mitigate food safety risks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions and continuous improvements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest food safety regulations and industry best practices
  • Prepare comprehensive reports and deliver presentations to senior management on food safety performance
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external regulatory bodies and auditors

What we're looking for

  • Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Food Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in a food safety leadership role, preferably in the food manufacturing industry
  • Extensive knowledge of food safety regulations documentation and auditing based on FSSC 22000 transition and implementation, HACCP principles, and quality control processes.
  • Knowledge of other standard such as ISO 9001, ISO 17025, ISO 19011, Pest Control Management and Halal Assurance Management is desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and mitigate food safety risks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Proficiency in data analysis and report writing
