HR Assistant

The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Department. This role assists in recruitment, employee records management, payroll coordination, and compliance with company policies and labor regulations. The HR Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth HR operations and positive employee relations.
Duties and Responsibilities- Assist in end-to-end recruitment processes, including job postings, screening of applicants, interview scheduling, and pre-employment requirements
- Maintain and update employee records, 201 files, and HR databases with accuracy and confidentiality
- Assist in onboarding and orientation of new employees
- Support payroll preparation by collecting attendance, leave, and overtime records
- Monitor employee attendance, leaves, and disciplinary records
- Assist in the implementation of HR policies, procedures, and company rules
- Coordinate with government agencies (DOLE, SSS, PhilHealth, Pag-IBIG, PESO) regarding employee and company requirements
- Prepare HR-related reports, memorandums, and documentation
- Assist in employee engagement activities, trainings, and company events
- Handle basic employee inquiries and provide HR-related assistance
- Perform other HR and administrative tasks as assigned
- Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or related field
- At least 6 months to 1 year of HR or administrative experience is an advantage (fresh graduates may be considered)
- Knowledge of Philippine labor laws and HR practices is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong organizational and time-management skills
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to handle confidential information with integrity
