Full job description

The Facilities Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing ongoing facility maintenance, troubleshooting, and completing repairs on buildings, grounds, and equipment. This includes general landscaping, equipment repairs, plumbing, heating, wiring, and ensuring buildings comply with safety standards. The role also involves identifying, planning, and scheduling major repairs as needed.

*Troubleshoot and repair kitchen equipment, electrical systems, and mechanical equipment.

*Perform basic preventive maintenance for kitchen equipment, electrical, and mechanical systems, as well as manually operated machines.

Conduct inspections to ensure compliance with safety and operational standards. Respond promptly to repair and maintenance requests. Willing to work night shifts, shifting schedules, holidays, and extended hours when required

Skills & Qualifications:

* Preferably 1-2 years of experience in Facilities Management or a Commissary setup. Graduate of Electromechanical/HVAC technical vocational course.

* Knowledgeable in basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting. Experience in preventive maintenance (PM) and repair of kitchen and manually operated equipment. Strong background in cold storage repair and troubleshooting (e.g., walk-in freezers, walk-in chillers, cold rooms).

* Physically fit to handle tasks involving lifting, moving equipment, and working in various conditions. Ability to work independently and adapt to shifting schedules.
