Operations Manager

The company's Operations Manager is tasked with 
maintaining and increasing the efficiency of a business.
They consult executives on decisions impacting all facets of company operations.

Responsibilities

  • Overall management of different teams directly related to company operations; (Warehouse & Yard, Production, Logistics)
  • Lead, motivate, and support a team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment, and lead problem resolutions
  • Manage data collection for the updating of metrics to achieve productivity targets, reduce cost per unit, eliminate errors, and maximize efficiency
  • Increase the efficiency of existing processes and procedures to enhance the company's internal capacity
  • Work closely with applicable cross-functional teams to improve proprietary tools and systems
  • Generate reports for management's strategic planning and forecasting
  • Support company decisions by providing relevant and accurate data for the company's short, medium and long term operations
  • Ensure that operational activities remain on time and within budget
  • Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance protocols
  • Able to execute career development plans for direct reports

Required skills and qualifications

  • Two or more years of proven success in an operations management role
  • Strong skills in budget development and oversight
  • Excellent ability to delegate responsibilities while maintaining organizational control of overall company operations
  • Proficiency in conflict management

Preferred skills and qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in operations management, business administration, or related field
  • Working knowledge of management software programs (SAP, Odoo, Netsuite)
  • Strong excel, or equivalent skills
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English and Filipino
