Tollroad and System Support Specialist

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

A. Performs preventive and corrective maintenance tasks of Toll and Traffic Systems Equipment

• Handles the monitoring of the Toll and Traffic Systems-related matters including special Projects, activities, and coordination with the involve parties
• Observes technical procedures and work instructions while maintaining safe work practices at all times.
• Carries out first and second level of maintenance of each Sections handle
• Prepares & submit weekly highlights, PM & CM reports of all activities done to his//her superior with respect to the policies & procedures that have been approved.
• Monitors inventory of all test instruments, tools for technicians & laboratory use
• Conducts study & contruct maintenance improvement methodology & latest technology
• Analyzes breakdown of FOE and Non FOE Equipment
• Participates in appropriate training both formally and on-the-job as required;
• Handles the installation of toll and traffic systems equipment for the new project during construction
• Assists end users in using toll and traffic systems equipment

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education

• Graduate of Electronics and Communication Engineering.

Experience

Required Skills

• Can drive a four-wheeled vehicle with license.
• With experience in service/maintenance of diagnostic tools and computer operations
• With experience in Operation & Maintenance of electromechanical systems equipment preferrably toll and traffic systems equipment
• Knowledge in basic computers systems, both hardware and software
• Knowledge in basic network troubleshooting and set-up

Preferred Skills

• With supervisory skills

Licenses

• Professional License is an advantage.

• Must be willing to stay beyond working/shift hours until works are duly completed and accomplished
• Must be willing to do field work with regular exposure to dirt, noise, heat, sunlight, wind and rain, or any other potential hazardous substances
• 24/7 "On Call" Service particularly during emergency and/or exceptional cases where operations and maintenance of Traffic Operations would be affected
• Required to care for and operate all assigned tools and equipment in a safe and proper manner
• Required to care for and properly manage all facilities, materials, supplies, stocks and inventories under his supervision
• Required to maintain a clean, neat, and safe environment of the assigned workstation
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Demonstrate ability to work under pressure and to meet strict timelines.
• Good ethics, dedication on the job and a team player
