Accounts Payable Analyst - Job Summary

The Accounts Payable Analyst is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing of invoices, payments, and reconciliations while maintaining compliance with company policies and financial regulations. This role involves monitoring accounts, resolving payment discrepancies, liaising with vendors, and supporting financial reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and verify invoices, ensuring accuracy and proper approvals.
  • Prepare and execute payment runs while maintaining compliance with payment schedules.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Coordinate with internal teams and vendors to address invoicing and payment concerns.
  • Maintain and update accounts payable records and ensure proper documentation.
  • Assist in month-end closing activities and financial reporting.
  • Reconcile accounts payable balance with the Trial Balance.
  • Monitor aging reports and ensure timely settlements to avoid penalties.
  • Prepare BIR reportorial require nents.
  • Support internal and external au dits by providing necessary documentation.
  • Assist in monthly inventory count.
  • Other tasks that may be assigned from time, to time.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • At least one year experience in accounts payable or general accounting.
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reguiations.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
