Job Title: CAD Operator

Position Brief

Under the supervision of the Project Lead, the CAD Operator is responsible for preparing and encoding shop drawings, detailed drawings, and as-built drawings as instructed by the Project Lead or Project Engineer. The role ensures the accuracy, clarity, and compliance of all technical drawings in line with company CAD standards.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Encode as-built drawings based on drafts and sketches provided by the Site Engineer.
  • Prepare shop drawings and detailed plans as directed by the Project Lead or Project Engineer.
  • Implement and follow company CAD standards and formatting guidelines.
  • Ensure all drawings are updated, accurate, and readable at all times.
  • Coordinate regularly with the Project Document Controller to endorse soft copies of updated drawings for safe keeping and version control.
  • Maintain an organized file system for CAD drawings to ensure easy access and retrieval.
  • Assist in revising drawings when there are design changes or field modifications.
  • Support the engineering team with technical drawing requirements during various project stages.

Minimum Requirements

  • Graduate of any 4-year college or relevant vocational course.
  • Holder of an AutoCAD Module Certificate or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience in a similar role.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD and other drafting software tools.
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Computer literate and capable of maintaining electronic drawing files efficiently.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Php19, Php22,000.00 per month
