Your Role
As a Software QA Analyst, you will:

• Develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases, ensuring that the team is using industry-accepted best practices
• Estimate, prioritize, plan, and coordinate testing activities
• Identify, record, document thoroughly, and track bugs
• Perform thorough regression testing when bugs are resolved
• Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and product managers) to identify system requirements
• Lead QA initiatives and contribute to the testing effort in a hands-on role & good Functional testing
• Contribute to the overall test plan for the tasks, dependencies, and participants required to mitigate the risks to system quality

What You Need
Non-negotiables

• 5 years experience in QA testing
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business or related field preferred
• 3+ years' experience in information technology preferred
• 1+ years' experience in mortgage or financial industry preferred
• 3+ years' experience with ServiceNow Enterprise ticketing system or similar software preferred
• 3+ years' experience in working with Governance, Risk and Compliance (GRC) preferred
• Demonstrates accountability and teamwork by taking ownership of assigned tasks and contributing to team success.

Preferred Skills/expertise
Ability to track tasks and manage tight deadlines

• Develop domain knowledge of Fay's business to include an understanding of department goals and company objectives.
• Ensure compliance with Fay's policies, processes, practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Model ethical standards, professionalism and code of conduct.
• Demonstrate behaviors that align with Fay's Values and Operating Principles.
• Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
• Understanding of hardware and software troubleshooting. Familiarity with IT Service Management and ticketing system. MS Office Products, Outlook, Strong Customer Service skills for the end-user preferred.
