Job Overview

Fastrack Multi-Purpose Cooperative is hiring a Kitchen Steward to join a hotel and restaurant operations team in Baguio City. The position is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in the kitchen, ensuring all utensils, equipment, and work areas are properly cleaned and organized.

Key Responsibilities

  • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, dishes, utensils, and work areas
  • Ensure kitchen and storage areas are maintained in a clean and orderly condition
  • Assist cooks and chefs with basic kitchen preparation tasks when needed
  • Dispose of waste and adhere to food safety and hygiene standards
  • Replenish cleaning supplies and report any maintenance issues to the supervisor
  • Follow all safety and sanitation procedures at all times

Qualifications

  • At least high school graduate or equivalent
  • With or without experience (training will be provided)
  • Physically fit and capable of performing cleaning and lifting tasks
  • Responsible, reliable, and able to work under minimal supervision
  • Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays
  • Preferably a resident of Baguio City or willing to relocate before onboarding
